New Trissino Plant Strengthens Commitment to Renewable Energy
On April 24, 2024, Pietro Fiorentini Group officially inaugurated its tenth production plant in Italy, located in Trissino, Vicenza. This new facility is a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing expansion, adding to its global network of 40 locations and a workforce of approximately 2,800 employees worldwide.
A Dedicated Facility for Biogas Upgrading and Biomethane Injection
The 3,000-square-meter production plant will focus exclusively on the manufacturing of biogas upgrading systems and biomethane injection solutions for the energy grid. As part of its strategy to drive sustainable and digital transformation, Pietro Fiorentini is expanding its expertise in renewable energy technologies, reinforcing its role as a leader in green energy innovation.
Industry Leadership in Biomethane Production
Edoardo Piubello, Operations Manager of the Biomethane Business Unit, stated:
“The new plant will be fully operational in the coming weeks, initially employing thirty colleagues from our headquarters. This number will grow as new orders arrive. With the experience we have consolidated over the years, we are now positioned as a single point of contact for customers in this rapidly growing sector.”

The Cella Dati site currently has the capability to produce:
An annual output exceeding 4 million cubic meters of biomethane
1,200 cubic meters of biogas per hour
600 cubic meters of biomethane per hour
