Investing in Future Leaders of the Energy Transition
Pietro Fiorentini, in collaboration with CUOA Business School and the Alumni Association of the University of Padua, is launching two initiatives to honor the memory of Matteo Cazzola. A valued company manager, Matteo tragically passed away on March 31, 2023, during a mountaineering trip in Norway at the age of 35.
Matteo was deeply committed to advancing hydrogen technology and renewable energy solutions. A graduate of the University of Padua with a degree in Engineering, he later pursued an MBA at CUOA Business School, reflecting his passion for both technical innovation and managerial excellence.
Scholarship for the CUOA Master in Business Management
To commemorate Matteo’s dedication to education and sustainable energy, Pietro Fiorentini is funding a full scholarship for the Master in Business Management at CUOA Business School, starting on June 7, 2023.

Award for University of Padua Engineering and Science Students
In collaboration with the Alumni Association of the University of Padua, Pietro Fiorentini is also funding an annual award for master’s students in Engineering and Science.
- Eligibility: Students who have completed or are working on a thesis related to energy transition
- Selection Criteria: Academic excellence and a strong commitment to decarbonization, hydrogen research, and renewable energy
