Pietro Fiorentini has won a prestigious contract from Snam, a leading European energy infrastructure operator specializing in natural gas transportation, storage, and regasification. This contract, awarded on behalf of Stogit, one of Italy and Europe’s key players in gas storage, reinforces Pietro Fiorentini’s position as a leader in process technology and gas treatment solutions.
Project Scope: Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of TEG Regeneration Packages
The contract includes the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of four Triethylene Glycol (TEG) Regeneration Packages designed to enhance gas storage facilities. These packages will be installed at:
- Three units at the Fiume Treste underground storage site in Abruzzo
- One unit at the Ripalta Cremasca plant in Lombardy
These state-of-the-art installations will replace aging infrastructure from the 1980s, modernizing gas treatment operations and improving efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
