In September 2020, Pietro Fiorentini S.p.A. proudly announced the production of its six-millionth smart meter at its Rosate plant in Milan. This achievement further solidifies the company’s leadership in smart metering solutions across Europe.

“We achieved this important result just one year after reaching the 5-million-unit mark,” stated Fabio Baggio, Components and Services Value Stream Leader at Pietro Fiorentini.

Since 2015, the company’s smart meter production has followed a steady and impressive growth trajectory:
- 1 million meters – July 2016
- 2 million meters – May 2017
- 3 million meters – February 2018
- 4 million meters – October 2018
- 5 million meters – September 2019
- 6 million meters – September 2020
