The Sustainable Energy Venture, a global initiative launched by Pietro Fiorentini Group in partnership with Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, has successfully concluded. The competition aimed to identify and support groundbreaking technologies for hydrogen supply chain development and carbon dioxide (CO2) emission reduction.
On October 11, 2022, at Spazio Base in Milan, six finalists showcased their innovative solutions to the board and management of Pietro Fiorentini Group and Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center. After a rigorous evaluation, three standout companies were selected for their cutting-edge contributions to sustainable energy, including:
- High-performance technologies for CO2 transformation into energy vectors
- Advanced hydrogen purification and compression systems
- Precision measurement solutions for hydrogen production and gas networks
Acceleration Program for Winning Startups
The winning startups will gain access to a strategic acceleration program led by Pietro Fiorentini. This initiative will explore commercial partnerships and investment opportunities to support the industrialization and market adoption of their technologies. With over 80 years of expertise in the natural gas industry, Pietro Fiorentini aims to leverage its Lean & Agile Management experience to help these startups scale their innovations and contribute to the EU’s decarbonization targets.
